Struggling caterer Carly Westin can't refuse her friend's last-minute request to help impress a new man with a romantic, home-cooked dinner. As she quietly prepares the couple's meal in the kitchen, a knock at the door is followed by gunshots...the couple is murdered in cold blood. Unseen by the killer, Carly tells investigator Jack Brannigan (Alex Carter, The Island) that Chester Winnifield (Corbin Bernsen, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang), a hot TV personality known as "Professor Passion," shot the couple.
